Hi,
has anyone got any idea of the portsmouth yardstick number for a k20+ for use in time handicap system.
Many thanks

I don't have a definitive answer, but I don't know whether the following may be of help:
When I first bought my own Kingfisher 20+ I was moving up from a Leisure 17. I raced against a Leisure in my new boat in the club regatta that year and the same handicap was used for both boats. Unfortunately I don't have a record of what that was, but from checking the RYA website it is currently listed as 1283 R - I've no idea what the R stands for.

A bit more digging has turned up a page that converts CYCA handicaps to Portsmouth Yardsticks:
http://www.petestack.com/sailing/apps/clydeports.html
This has a link through to a page with CYCA handicaps, and lists the Kingfisher 20. This could be the 20+ incorrectly listed, but they are pretty similar anyway.
http://homepages.rya-online.net/cyca/CLASSES.HTM
They only list one figure in against the K20, so using that as both fastest and slowest and sticking with the default constant supplied this gives a Portsmouth Yardstick of 1370.
These figures are significantly different, but they're a starting point I guess!
