Otter for sale

Post by Span67 »

I am selling my Otter - sail no. 730 - at a giveaway price. It has a double-skinned hull, so built-in buoyancy, although there is a fine crack in the outer hull alongside the starboard strake and several old glass-fibre repair patches here and elsewhere. Proctor aluminium mast and boom seem fine (sloop, not gunter rig). Mainsail and jib old but usable. Replacement centreboard cut but needs varnishing, likewise thwart and other woodwork. One half of centreboard pivot bracket has rusted badly but would probably be usable. Original rudder and tiller. Fittings ready to re-attach. Launching trolley included but no road trailer. Postcode IP9, near Ipswich, Suffolk. I am also about to post it on Ebay: £50

It looks as though post approval has been enabled, but without sending me notifications. Apologies for the delay in approving this.

Thanks - yes, I wasn't sure, initially, whether my posting had got lost in the ether, hence the second attempt. I would be happy for you to delete the earlier one.

I should also add that I have now realised that the kicker/kicking strap is missing from the equipment included with the boat.
