Firefox for web developers
I don't know how many here have investigated Firefox as an alternative to IE, or how many test their sites in multiple browsers for compatibility (well worth doing as there are far too many IE only sites out there that would only need very minor alterations to make the W3C complaint). Anyway, apart ...

Temporary website problem
Just in case anyone pops in here to find out what is happening with the website I thought I'd put a quick post up here... FIrst off, check you are heading to the right one. It has recently had to move to a new home, so http://www.kyoa.org.uk/ is where you should be heading, and not the original http...

No, it looks as though Pete Johnson has actually moved ISP. Unfortunately Freenetname, who he registered with originally and who technically own the domain name (as part of the terms of getting it free with your internet connection) tend to charge an extortionate amount to transfer it to a new owner...

Unfortunately I haven't actually had one made up from the mould. It was actually rescued from my club compound when the person who had it changed boats. From looking at it, and I think I have probably seen either a picture or one fitted in the past (but I'm not 100% sure of that) - if you image a la...

Well the outboard well was designed around the Johnson 6HP as it was back then. Engines have improved in the drive they can produce for a given engine size and I am more than happy with the Yamaha 5HP unit I have in mine. This itself is a few years old, but I should imagine that any modern 5HP outbo...

Hatch garage mould
If anyone is interested in making a hatch garage for their Kingfisher then let me know as I have ended up with the mould. I believe that it was probably 'tidied' in error at some point when in the compound at my sailing club, but it was spotted and rescued before anything nasty could happen to it an...

Are jet skiers and kite boarders a nuisance or an asset?
Possibly a contraversial topic to get start things off, but hopefully one that most people will have views on. On one side of the argument do people consider jet skiers and kite boarders an asset to the harbours? Do they open the enjoyment of the area up to a wider cross section of people and bring ...
